St. James' Church is one of Louth’s most iconic landmarks. Originally built in the 11th century, it was the original site of the Lincolnshire Rising in 1536. Renowned for having the third tallest spire in the UK, it dominates the skyline and is visible from over three miles away.
Take part in the guided tour here and you'll have the chance to ascend to the top of the tower, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the town, the rolling countryside, and even the distant coastline.

Formed by melting glaciers after the last ice age, Hubbard’s Hills is now a beautiful public park. With woodland walks, a pretty river and plenty of space to relax, this is the perfect spot for a picnic on a sunny day – especially if you’ve picked up something delicious from one of Louth’s many food shops!
